Where do my recordings go?
Straight to a folder you pick on your own computer, one MP4 per recording, written every second while you record. Tick "Keep a separate file for every source" under Options if you want every voice as its own file. Your recording is not uploaded, except when you use Convert, which sends the file to our server and back. While the live transcript is on, Chrome sends your microphone audio to Google to turn it into text. An AI button sends the transcript only when you press it.
Does it work on any machine?
It runs in Google Chrome and supports macOS, Windows, and Linux. Recording, transcript, captions, and export work the same on all three.
Can I record the other side of a call?
Yes. Pick your Google Meet or Teams tab and tick Share tab audio. Their voices go into the recording, and with the per-source option they get their own track.
What happens if I cancel?
Your files are already on your disk, so you keep everything. The plan simply stops renewing.
